Recently Kairos Future received, along with a handful other businesses and universities, 2,5 million EUR from the EU's research budget Horizon 2020 Project STEP, Societal and political engagement of young people in environmental issues. The aim is to develop and test a language independent e-democracy platform that will facilitate cooperation between citizens and government.

The platform will be built on Kairos Future collaboration platform Co:tunity which will be supplemented by, among other things functionality for machine translation, social media streams etc. The platform will be tested in collaboration with a dozen regions of southern Europe and Turkey. The project will run for three years, starting in January 2015.

London is one of the trendiest places in the world. It's a playground for creative brands and it is often here trends and new consumption styles eventually finds its way home to the Nordic countries. The reason for the strong influences on the Swedish market most likly has to do with the large number of Swedes who  live in London and have strong ties with the city. More than 30,000 Swedes are Londoners.

Now you can travel with us to this colorful place and together look, scout and try the newest trends. During the course we will mix theory (What is a trend? How to discover and map the trends?) with practice. We will be using Co:tunity and also have guest lectures by exciting local trend spotters, and together find out more about the most interesting areas and trend phenomenas in London.

We have created a new app with lots of featues that makes it easier to engage in innovation challenges, share trend spottings and generate ideas. You can even update your profile image, and chat with other innovators participating in the same challenges. 

Important news:

Due to increased security level on the app we have to kindly ask old users to remove the old app and download the new Co:tunity app from Apple´s App Store. It is not enough to just update the app - unfortunately you have to first remove the old and then download new version.
